The fitbit charge 3 is a marked improvement over its predecessor and is a pretty compelling entrant to the world of fitness trackers. My understanding is that you should be able to shower and swimm with the versa 2. Not all fitness trackers.

Page 43 of the user manual says it s water resistant up to 50 meters but since while bathing you re using soap shampoo and possibly more items it wouldn t be a good idea to wear it. While it doesn t address it specifically in the manual some things you just have to exercise caution such as getting your fitbit wet in the tub or shower. Swimming and showering have very different water pressure levels.

Also during your shower is the best time to charge your device. In other words does fitbit clearly state that you can swimm and shower on a daily basis with the versa 2 without having any water related issues. I would advise against using any fitbit in the shower.

The wear and care guide says not to use soap for cleaning the band and even then it s only to prevent skin irritation rather than not damaging the fitbit. Best of all it s now completely waterproof so you can shower or bathe with it without a problem. While there are people who say that they have worn their fitbit alta hr in the shower it s definitely not recommended to do so.
